Use of 2-Ethylhexyl Nitrate for the Slow Pyrolysis of Plastic Waste

Plastics are widely used and part of modern life. Recycling plastic waste can be achieved by pyrolysis. Conventional pyrolysis takes place at temperatures higher than 450 °C, because the oil yield is higher. In this study, we examined if an initiator for radical reactions achieve conventional HDPE PP even low temperatures.
